is the charity for Leg 1 to donate use link www.mycharitypage.com/TheExtremities Starting on Friday 13th April from Henton Village Hall in Somerset I walk into Wells then using long distance footpaths of East Mendip Way, Macmillan Way, The Ridgeway, Icknield Path. and Angles Way to Lowestoft in Suffolk arriving on Wednesday 2nd May a distance of about 284 miles. is the charity for Leg 2 to donate use link www.justgiving.com/TheExtremities-happy-days We leave Lowestoft in Suffolk on 3rd May and initially retraced our steps walking west but then turn north passing The Wash through Lincolnshire across the Humber and north through Yorkshire over the Pennines and into Scotland travelling up the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way all the way north to Dunnet Head. This is a distance of about 801 miles in total and will now be done in 2 parts initially to Boston by 10th May 2012 Then in 2013 from Boston to Dunnet Head timed to arrive on 20th June 2013 (The solstice being at 5:04 am on 21st) Further details on this charity at www.HappyDaysCharity.org
is the charity for Leg 3 to donate use link www.justgiving.com/TheExtremities-sense-scotland This will again be done in 2 parts the key part as planned in 2012 where we turn west across to Glenfinnan then south along Loch Sheil then west on the Ardnamurchan Penisula to Corrachadh Mor but the walk from Dunnet Head to Fort William will now be done in 2013. is the charity for Leg 4 to donate use link www.justgiving.com/TheExtremities-Tree-of-Hope This is again in 2 parts but due to restructuring not so many miles or days as originally planned. The key part to the most southerly point will now start from home at Henton on 23rd August then through Somerset Devon and Cornwal to Lizard point arriving on 4th September. There will also be a small part walked for this charity on leaving Corrachadh Mor back to Fort William. This will make a total of 17 days and about 264 miles being walked for this charity. I am now walking back 189 miles retracing my steps through Cornwall, Devon and into Somerset with the last day of nearly 26 miles from Bathpool to arrive at Henton Village Hall at Ten past Six in the evening of Sunday 16th September 2012.
